INGREDIENTS:

For the cupcakes:

100g butter

15g castor sugar

200g condensed milk

125g flour

5g baking powder

5g vanilla essence

2 tsp of Celeste AM PM tea brewed in 125g milk

For the buttercream:

2 tsp Celeste AM PM Black tea brewed in 70g milk

100g icing sugar

180g butter

Cupcake Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, beat the butter, castor sugar, and vanilla essence together until they become light and fluffy.

Add the condensed milk to the butter mixture and continue mixing for 2-3 minutes, ensuring all the ingredients are well incorporated.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.

Alternately add the flour mixture and the brewed Celeste AM PM tea (made with 125g milk) to the butter and sugar mixture. Beat until the batter is smooth and well combined.

Pour the batter into cupcake molds, filling each about two-thirds full.

Preheat your oven to 170 degrees Celsius (340 degrees Fahrenheit).

Bake the cupcakes for 14-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the cupcakes from the oven and allow them to cool completely.

Buttercream Instructions:

Dissolve the icing sugar in the brewed Celeste AM PM tea (made with 70g milk) and let it come to room temperature.

In a separate bowl, beat the butter until it turns light and fluffy.

Gradually add the tea and sugar mixture to the butter in three parts, beating continuously until the buttercream comes together and reaches a smooth consistency.

ASSEMBLY:

Once the cupcakes have cooled, it's time to add the finishing touch. Pipe the Masala Chai Buttercream onto the cupcakes using a piping bag, or if you prefer, spread it gently with a spatula for a more rustic look.

For an extra touch of charm, you can garnish the cupcakes with a sprinkle of tea leaves, a dusting of cinnamon, or any other desired toppings.
